In the Duncan Jones-directed thriller, Gyllenhaal plays soldier Captain Colter Steven who learns that he has to prevent a bombing in downtown Chicago.

Ahead of its premiere at SXSW Film Conference and Festival on March 11, "Source Code" has been previewed in a clip. It sees confused Jake Gyllenhaal's Captain Colter Steven who learns that his task is to stop a bomber who wants to explode downtown Chicago.

Steven wakes up in the body of an unknown man and discovers that he is part of an experimental government program investigating a terrorist incident. With a second, much larger target threatening to kill millions in downtown Chicago, Colter re-lives the incident over and over again, gathering clues each time, until he can solve the mystery of who is behind the bombs and prevent the next attack.


Filled with mind-boggling twists and heart-pounding suspense, "Source Code" is directed by "Moon" helmer Duncan Jones. Vera Farmiga, Michelle Monaghan and Jeffrey Wright are also cast in the action thriller that will head to theaters across the U.S. on April 1.

Paramount Pictures has dropped a new trailer for "Thor" via Yahoo! Movies. It offers more details on how Thor arrives on Earth and how he adjusts himself to the new world. The latter part could generate some laughters as Thor's unique actions prompt people to question his sanity. On the action scenes, there is a longer preview of the Destroyer and a glimpse of Frost Giants.

Thor is The God of Thunder in Asgard who is cast down to Earth by his father Odin after his reckless actions reignite an ancient war. A beautiful, young scientist, Jane Foster, has a profound effect on Thor, as she ultimately becomes his first love. It's while here on Earth that Thor learns what it takes to be a true hero when the most dangerous villain of his world sends the darkest forces of Asgard to invade Earth.

Chris Hemsworth leads with Natalie Portman playing Jane Foster. Anthony Hopkins portrays Odin and Tom Hiddleston is cast as Thor's nemesis Loki. Directed by Kenneth Branagh, this movie adaptation of Marvel comics will be unleashed in U.S. cinemas on May 6.

After being lucky enough to get a kiss from Cheryl Cole at the BRIT Awards last night, it would appear that Justin Bieber is a hit with many more English ladies.

The teen sensation was greeted by hundreds of screaming fans as he arrived at the O2 Cineworld in London tonight for the European premiere of his film Never Say Never.

And the crowds just got bigger and bigger, not only in an attempt to catch a glimpse of their heartthrob, but also to try and be lucky enough to land themselves a free ticket.

And the 16-year-old pop star seemed delighted to see his fanbase below him as he surveyed the crowd from a balcony above them.

And Justin sent them into ecstasy as he blew kisses to them from his podium and then went down to sign autographs and pose for pictures with them.

The singer arrived in the UK on Monday to attend the BRIT Awards last night where he was awarded Best International Breakthrough Artist.

A few hours a go, he took to his Twitter page to announce: 'UK fans!!! heads up...rumors are true...the team will be giving out tickets to random fans at the O2 today for the #NSN3D premiere 2nite!'

He then reassured them: 'you dont need any wristbands....just be at the O2 and u might get a ticket. gotta give back. Thanks!'

Among the keenest to see the cherubic pop star were Becky Fuller, 13, and her friend Shelby Poll, 12, who had each written his initals in red on their left cheek and were accompanied by Becky's mother Dana, 45.

Clutching a copy of Bieber's book 'First Step 2 Forever', Becky said: 'We love him because he's such an inspiration - he shows that you can come from nowhere and do something. Plus he's cute.'

It read: 'Camping gear £50. Train fare £30. Sleeping out all night on the street. Justin Bieber = priceless.'

Bieber is already one of the most Googled people on the planet with more than one billion You Tube views, 6.3 million Twitter followers and 16.5 million friends on Facebook. He has sold 9 million albums worldwide and performed for President Obama twice en route to starring in the new movie.

Spare a thought for Ian Smith, 49, a network engineer who was recently made redundant. Not himself a 'Belieber', as some fans call themelves, he was in the thick of the crowd after being asked by his niece to go along and try to get Bieber's autograph for her as she couldn't go because she has flu.

He said: 'The screaming is ear-piercing but I think I've just about got used to it after six hours.'

Tomorrow the pop star travels to Paris for a screening of the film and will meet up with Usher there.

On sex, Bieber - who is reportedly dating fellow teen star Selena Gomez – says: I don't think you should have sex with anyone unless you love them.'

And even shared his potentially controversial views on abortion: 'I really don't believe in abortion. It's like killing a baby?'.

And when asked:'How about in cases of rape? 'Um. Well, I think that's really sad, but everything happens for a reason.

'I guess I haven't been in that position, so I wouldn't be able to judge that.'

But he soon finds out that the 'good guy' does not prosper in Dirt after discovering a cemetery filled with 'good guy' tombstones.

Feeling poorly: Ashton Kutcher arrives at BBC Radio 1 yesterday afternoon after cancelling some of his earlier interviews


At some point, most employees will have called in sick to work after overdoing it the night before.

Ashton Kutcher, expected live on the air with Lorraine Kelly yesterday morning at the ITV studios, was feeling worse for wear after a very late night out in Chinatown - during which he broke up a fight.

Being an A-list star, he managed to convince TV producers to allow him to conduct the interview from his hotel room.

But he had no such luxury later, and was spotted still looking under the weather as he arrived for his afternoon interview on BBC Radio 1.

Wearing jeans and a blazer with a purple shirt and matching socks, the 33-year-old clutched a large cup of coffee as he half-heartedly greeted fans outside the studio.
The actor, in town to promote No Strings Attached, had a pale face and circles under his eyes.

When radio host Scott Mills asked how he was feeling, Ashton groaned in response, saying sarcastically: 'Fantastic.'

He admitted to partying a little too hard the night before, and added: 'I broke up a fight in China town.'

He comically explained how he played peace maker using his martial arts skills.
Ashton also revealed how at last weekend's Super Bowl game in Dallas, that former President Geroge Bush was less than chummy towards him.

Kutcher, who was seated behind the politician in the VIP bow, said: 'I don't think he's very happy with me. He wasn't very nice, he snubbed me a little bit.
'I think I said some mean things during the election about him and I feel like he doesn't like me.

'When Mills asked if it was simply a case of Bush ignoring him, Ashton replied: 'No, a bit more than that actually.

Kutcher added that inside the VIP booth nobody's text messages were working except the former Presidents.

'He was sitting there sending messages on his Blackberry,' Ashton said. 'And I'm behind him leaning over trying to see what he's writing.'

Reports today claim that Ashton had partied at a brothel-themed bar in China town until 3am with wife Demi Moore.

Ashton managed to get through his interview with Lorraine Kelly yesterday morning from his hotel suite, and later poked fun at the ITV host's accent with Scott Mills.
'She sounded very sincere, and was very nice,' he said in an exaggerated, sing-song Irish accent.

'She reminded me of Glenda, the good witch from the Wizard of Oz.'

While Ashton has been busy promoting No Strings Attached, his wife Demi has been getting down to the business of shopping.

As the wife of fashion tycoon François-Henri Pinault, Salma has access to some of the world's top fashion houses, including Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, Alexander McQueen and Balenciaga.

Mother-of-three Demi, 48, teamed a pair of skinny jeans with buckled ankle boots and a wool jacket, while Salma, 44, went for an all-black ensemble of leather skirt and boots, furry gilet and a fedora hat.

The pair visited Hermes and Lanvin, before stopping for lunch at the upmarket Hanawa restaurant.

Few women want to look exactly like they did 20 years ago. After all, hairstyles and fashions move on don’t they?

But Nicole Kidman, 43, and Jennifer Aniston, 41, have somehow managed to keep their twenty- something complexions while ditching the heavy eyebrows and frizzy hair of their youth.

The actresses appeared together at the premiere of their romantic comedy Just Go With It in New York looking glossy and glamorous. And it seems that working together has made them the firmest of friends.

In a recent joint interview for a magazine, Miss Aniston told Miss Kidman: ‘Physically, you’re a masterpiece.’

The 16-year-old pop star and the 18-year-old actress have been spotted getting cosy together on several occasions over the past couple of months but never admitted to a relationship.

While they didn't pose together at the event at the Nokia Theatre in Downtown Los Angeles, they made a statement instead with their colour co-ordinated purple outfits which also matched the carpet.

Justin wore a purple velvet tuxedo jacket over a black shirt and black trousers which he teamed with trainers while Selena looked glamorous in a stunning short bright purple satin dress.

Jayden, 12, and Willow, 10, both demonstrated their own fashion sense in trendy outfits - Jayden in a Michael Jackson inspired yellow leather jacket and Willow in a cream leather jumpsuit and multi string necklace.

R&B star Usher Raymond brought along his two sons from his ex-wife Tameka Foster - Usher Raymond Jr, aged three, and two-year-old Naviyd Ely Raymond, both of whom had matching hair cuts just like their daddy.

The star studded event was relatively low-key compared to the scenes in Bieber's native Toronto, Canada, where streets around the cinema came to a standstill.

Thousands of fans who were unable to get inside the overwhelmed venue threatened to start a riot and storm the theatre when they were denied entry.

His die-hard fans - 'Beliebers' - had camped outside overnight to catch a glimpse of their idol.

Never Say Never, which follows the teen star on his 2010 concert tour and features appearances by Usher, Miley Cyrus, Boys II Men, Sean Kingston and Jaden Smith, is released in the UK on February 18.

It is released in conjunction with his autobiography which is already available in store titled Justin Bieber: First Step 2 Forever.
